John Lennon's Murderer Remains in Jail!

Mark David Chapman, the man who killed John Lennon in 1980 will remain in jail.

According to TMZ.com, quoting the New York State Division of Parole, the 55-year-old murderer is not ready for parole yet and he will remain in prison for at least another couple of years.

Chapman was informed that the Division has concerns "about the disregard [he] displayed for the norms of our society and the sanctity of human life".
Chapman gunned down Lennon 30 years ago outside the singer;s NYC apartment.
Yoko Ono's representative declared she is "very pleased with the result" of yesterday's hearing.
Next time Chapman will go on a legal hiring to obtain another parole review: August 2012.
