John Lennon's Signature

John Lennon's Signature

It is almost funny when small things which belong to famous people sell for fortunes.  Now we tell you about a 1966 magazine signed by John Lennon which was sold for $12,713!!!
RR Auction of Amherst run one online auction and the winning bid is an orthopedic surgeon at New York's Mount Sinai Medical Center. Is this man too rich or too fanatic?
The odd thing is that in the September 1966 "Datebook" ( the magazine we were talking about), Lennon has signed 'John C. Lennon' above his photo, even though his middle initial is W. for Winston.
The magazine also has an interview gave by Lennon in which he said: 'Christianity will go. It will vanish and shrink. I needn't argue about that; I'm right and I will be proved right. We're more popular than Jesus now. I don't know which will go first — rock 'n' roll or Christianity." Go where? As far as we know, Christianity is still here and still on top!
Back then, Lennon's comment provoked a anti-Beatles reaction in US and many people have burned their Beatles records.
