Jessica Simpson is engaged to be married to her boyfriend Eric Johnson. According to UsMagazine.com, the engagement took place on Thursday , very soon after her former husband Nick Lachey popped the question to Vanessa Minnillo. 30-year-old Simpson and 37-year-old Lachey split in 2005, after three years of marriage.
During an appearance at Dillard’s at Oak Park Mall in Kansas City, on Saturday, Jessica showed off a sizable ring on her left hand. Translation: she was proposed!
Simpson and Johnson began dating in May, while the former NFL player was still legally married to his now former wife.
