Jermaine Jackson, Michael Jackson's brother reacts after the recent suicide of Evan Chandler (he shot himself in the head), the man who accused Michael Jackson in 1993 of molesting his son. At an event at the Magic Johnson theater in L.A. yesterday, Jermaine said Chandler's suicide proves the molestation accusations against his brother were false. Jermaine said that Evan Chandler could not live with the guilty of defaming such a huge star as Michael with all those molesting accusations so he killed himself. Michael Jackson settled the '93 accusations by paying $20 million.

Was Jermaine there for Michael when he went through the child molestation accusations. I think not. From what I've read I don't think he and Michael had a very good relationship. According to a magazine article Jermaine hasn't been doing much of anything worthwhile.He wasn't in the spotlight when Michael was alive but he's sure taking advantage of it now that Michael's gone. He makes me sick.Ithink the only people that beleived Michael was innocent were his fans. I don't think his family did. I think the Jackson family with the exception of Michael's kids are dysfunctional and are trying to capitolize on his death. They were nothing without Michael and they will always be nothing.

@Sheila, Wrong about the family, Janet, Randy, Marlon, and Rebbie and Tito and some of the rest of them stood by Michael when he went through the trial. If anyone wants to know the truth, they need to purchase a book called Redemption by Geraldine Hughes who witnessed the 1993 extortion case against him. The trial had something to do with morality when he purchased the music catalog back in the mid 1980's. Not alot of people know about it but they should and need to learn. It amazes me that Jordy Chandler waited until MJ died and conveniently decides that he will finally apologize. Shameful for him.
