Jennifer Lawrence in 'The Hunger Games'
Jennifer Lawrence weight is normal. We say that and she says that. But according to ‘The Hunger Games‘ viewers, she’s fat. Actually she’s too fat to play Katniss Everdeen in the movie.
First of all, Jennifer is not fat as a person, she’s just normal in the not anorexic way.
Second, she’s not too fat to play Katniss who’s a hunter in the movie. She has to be strong, she has to give you the impression that’s she healthy. Skinny people aren’t always very healthy.
Well, Jennifer has something to say to those people considering her too chubby-looking to play in the movie based on Suzanne Collins’ best-selling novel. “This is hilarious. First, people say how so many actresses in Hollywood look anorexic, and now they are criticizing me for looking normal”, she said.
We can only admire Jennifer for focusing on the bright side and for not getting upset with the critics. Actually, she added that overly thin body images “are too often adopted by young girls and women — thanks to what they are constantly being shown as being attractive”.
She also arguments that no one said anything about her co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth who both also play residents of the film’s fictional District 12, where people are facing starving conditions. And they are not skinny in the movie either.
Meanwhile, ‘The Hunger Games, is not slowing down at the box-office, where it passed the $253 million mark during its second weekend. Congratulations!
