Heather Locklear Arrested!

According to TMZ.com, Heather Locklear was arrested on Saturday for hit-and-run. It looks like around 4 AM, someone heard a crash near North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, CA. but didn’t announce the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department until 7:48 PM that night.

Deputies went there and saw the “no parking” sign damaged. There were obvious signs of a car that hit it. Then they confirmed the car that hit the sign was Locklear’s black BMW. The deputies went to Locklear’s home, saw damage to the BMW and arrested her for hit-and-run.
The actress will face the court on May 17, but she wasn’t taken into police custody. She was just cited and released.  “Ms. Locklear was cited with a misdemeanor traffic ticket as she is the registered owner of the vehicle.  She was never taken into custody.  The matter is still being looked into as it is not yet clear who was driving the vehicle”, Locklear’s lawyer, Blair Berk declared.
This is not the first time when Locklear is arrested. In 2008, she was arrested in Santa Barbara for allegedly driving under the influence of prescription medications.
