The awards season was open. Last night Gotham Awards were held, and today the Independent Spirit Award nominations are coming out.
Soon the the Golden Globe nominations will also come out.
The Gotham Awards mostly recognize independent films, and low-budget fare filmed in and around New York. Yet its another opportunity to see the stars and mostly to see how they are dressed. So let’s see what we’ve got: Hilary Swank wearing Emilio Pucci, Mila Kunis wearing Oscar de la Renta, Julianne Moore in one Lanvin dress, Leighton Meester in menswear-inspired Thom Browne, Natalie Portman in Lanvin for H&M and Anne Hathaway, who wore a very odd dress, who’s designer rests unknown.
