Gold Medal-Winning Gymnast Kerri Strug Marries Attorney Robert Fischer!

Kerri Strug, the gold medal-winning gymnast married attorney Robert Fischer on Sunday in Tucson, Arizona. The ceremony, held at the Skyline Country Club, included hundreds of orchids, a fireworks display, tea and fresh scones for breakfast. 

The bride proudly wore a Pronovias gown which had over 5,000 Swarovski crystals and a sweetheart neckline.
“Robert always wants to make me happy. He’s a little old-fashioned. He really courted me, and for a while. To this day, he still gives me flowers on a regular basis”, she told People.
Among the guests: Strug’s Olympic teammate Dominique Moceanu and her former coach, Bela Karolyi, both with Romanian roots. Back in 1996, Bela carried the injured Kerri from the competition floor and to the podium to receive the gold medal with her teammates (including Dominique Moceanu).
“I’ll be honest: I’m really excited about the cake. Remember, I was on a diet for a lot of my life!” Strug said while ending the evening.
