Fantasia Barrino Goes Home from Hospital!

Fantasia Barrino was released from a North Carolina hospital on Wednesday. The former ‘American Idol’ winner was hospitalized two days ago due to an overdose with aspirin and sleep aids.

Monday night’s 911 call and the corresponding police report were released and they indicate that the singer tried to commit suicide.
“She has been lifted up by the outpouring of love and support from her fans. She is more committed than ever to her daughter and her work because they are her heart, her soul and inspiration”, Barrino’s manager, Brian Dickens confirmed in a statement.
The attempt came days after her married lover’s wife filed for divorce and said her husband and Fantasia Barrino shot a sex tape together.
In one statement Barrino’s manager released on Monday he says the is “not responsible for the deterioration of the Cook’s marriage” and that she will “weather this storm with the dignity and grace that she has exemplified throughout” her life.
Fantasia Barrino, who won the 2004′s ‘American Idol’ edition is also an eight-time Grammy nominee.
