Fantasia Barrino admitted she carried married lover Antwaun Cook‘s baby. But the American Idol winner had an abortion around the time she tried to commit suicide.

According to  RadarOnline.com, Barrino made the confession in a North Carolina court on Monday during Cook’s divorce from his wife Paula.

The singer also admitted that she knew Cook was living with Paula when they started their affair. She added that during their 11 months affair, she thought Cook had separated from his wife.
Fantasia became the center of one sexual scandal after she tattooed the name “Cook” on her collarbone in honor of Antwaun.
In August, Fantasia attempted to kill herself by taking an overdose of aspirin after reading a court complaint filed by Paula naming her as a home wrecker.
Currently, Fantasia is still dating Antwaun Cook.
Paula is still considering suing Fantasia over the unique Alienation of Affection law (a law recognized by only seven states – one of which is North Carolina – where an abandoned spouse can file lawsuit against the party responsible for the failure of their marriage, in this case Fantasia).
