Ellen DeGeneres: the Fourth American Idol Judge Found!

Paula Abdul's resignation from The American Idol show brought a lot of guest judges for the auditions: Victoria Beckham, Mary J. Blige, Kristin Chenoweth, Joe Jonas, Neil Patrick Harris, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry and Shania Twain.
In the mean time, the producers were looking for the fourth judge to permanently work alongside Ryan Seacrest, Randy Jackson and Kara DiGuardi. And this is Ellen DeGeneres!!! "Getting this job is a dream come true, and think of all the money I'll save from not having to text my vote", the comedienne declared after being named on Wednesady.
Ellen makes the announcement of her participation during her Thursday's episode of 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'."I'm going to have a day job and a night job. This is so exciting for me. I've been dying to tell everyone. It's just been so hard to keep it a secret and we just finally got the OK and I'm so excited. It is going to be so much fun", 51 years old Ellen adds.
The ninth season of The American Idol returns to TV in January 2010.
