Less than two weeks before the Masters, Tiger Woods is obviously preparing himself for the big return. We can’t say the same thing about his wife Elin Nordegren.

According to one source close to Elin, she hasn’t decided yet whether to attend the tournament or not. Elin being there would be the obvious sign that she is supporting her husband. But it seems like she would rather miss the tournament. “Elin does not want to go to the Masters and is preparing for a trip to see her family and friends in Sweden. She is also being asked by Tiger to attend the Masters, even if for a half day, to look like she is interested in supporting his return to golf. But she would rather not be there”, the source told People.
The same source says that it is most likely for Elin to fly a commercial airline to Sweden to be with her family during the Masters. “Tiger’s [private] plane is too ‘in your face’ for her now. She really does not want to go to Augusta, and it is easier for her to be far away than home in Orlando”, the source added.

The Masters will start in Augusta, Georgia, on April 8.

How could Tiger ask or expect Elin to go to the Masters? How insensitive can he be? Elin has suffered enough, already. Elin does not need to subject herself to the frenzy and circus like atmosphere that seems to accompany Tiger Woods everywhere he goes. Elin and the children have been the innocent victims in this horrid ordeal.
