Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg Pay Tribute to ‘Ghost’ co-star Patrick Swayze

Family, friends and fans, we are all so very sorry for Patrick Swayze’s death. The ‘Dirty Dancing’ star died yesterday at 57 years old. He was suffering from pancreatic cancer, diagnosed in January 2008.
One of his closest friends, actress Whoopi Goldberg, who also co-stared Swayze in hit movie ‘Ghost’, declared on ‘The View’ that she is in shock after hearing about his death. “He never thought of himself of dying. He worked up to the last minute. He never gave up. I would like to have that bravery”, the actress said.
 Then Whoopi revealed that she owes an Oscar to Patrick Swayze. “Because of Patrick Swayze I got that movie. Because of Patrick Swayze I got that Oscar”, she added referring to the ‘Ghost’.
Another close friend of Patrick’s, Demi Moore posted a tribute to her ‘Ghost’ co-star. “Patrick you are loved by so many and your light will forever shine in all of our lives. And in the words of Sam to Molly. ‘It’s amazing Molly. The love inside, you take it with you.’ I love and will miss you Patrick”, the actress wrote quoting from their lines in ‘Ghost’ movie.
