Being a peacemaker is not always an easy thing! David Arquette found out that the hard way!

During one Los Angeles Lakers vs. Phoenix Suns game, the actor went down painfully after he got in the middle of an altercation between security and a fan. It looks like Arquette tried to take the side of a fan who was knocked on his butt, but he got himself hurt.
Michael Roth, one of the bigwigs at AEG, the company that operates Staples Center declared he saw the fan running and that they “approached [the fan] and asked him to leave and when he didn’t want to leave, there was some force used”. It seems like that was the force that hit David Arquette too!

Mr. Cox wasn't trying to help the other fan. Davey boy was trying to help the security guy who was pinned down and in a headlock by the fan. The didn't storm the court. He had courtside tickets and told the refs off about their officiating. That's when the security guard decided to jump the fan from behind, then got his butt kicked by the fan!
