Christina McLarty and David Arquette

Soon after people started hearing wedding bells,  David Arquette and Christina McLarty have split.

“Sadly I’m single again. A long distance relationship proved to be too difficult”, the 40-year-old actor wrote on Twitter on Tuesday. It looks like the distance was the main issue. Just after they started dating, the Entertainment Tonight reporter was tranferred to NYC. They tried to make things work out, but it didn’t go too well.
David met Christina on a boat party last summer and they made their relationship public in late September 2011.
Previously, David Arquette separated from his wife Courtney Cox in October 2010. The couple has a 7-year-old daughter Coco.
As for Christina, she was married to ‘Girls Gone Wild’ creator Joe Francis for a few weeks in 2010.
