Michael Jackson's personal physician, Conrad Murray surrendered Monday to a courthouse to face a charge of involuntary manslaughter.

57 years old doctor pleaded not guilty to the charge filed by the Los Angeles District Attorney. Superior Court Judge Keith Schwartz set bail for $75,000 and asked Murray to surrender his passport.
Conrad Murray who used to receive $ 150,000 in order to help Michael Jackson for his comeback  concert series, is still allowed to practice medicine as long as he doesn't administer anesthesia. "I'm talking about deep anesthetic, where you put somebody to sleep. You can be in a room where another doctor is doing it, but you can't do that", the judge said.
Murray will be in court again on April 5.
As you know pop star Michael Jackson died on June 2009, after he was given an overdose of the hospital-strength anesthetic propofol while he was under Murray's care.
