Conan O’Brien Invites Superman Jim Carrey on Stage!

A Conan O’Brien show is something else when Jim Carrey appears on stage dressed in a Superman costume.

And this is what happened on Saturday night at the Los Angeles pit stop of Conan’s “Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour”. Carrey came on stage for a rendition of Five for Fighting’s “Superman (It Ain’t Easy)”.

The show took place at Universal Studios’ Gibson Amphitheater, very close from Conan’s old ‘Late Night’ place. So Carrey couldn’t stop himself from making a few jokes about it. “This is my first time back at Universal Studios since I lost my job. Don’t boo too loudly. If you listen very carefully, you can hear bad ideas being green-lit”, Conan told a booing public.
And that wasn’t all! Aziz Ansari, Jonah Hill, Jon Hamm and Jack McBrayer later came on stage too. The audience was nothing less: Megan Mullally, her ‘Parks and Recreation’ star boyfriend Nick Offerman, Katy Perry and her fiance Russell Brand and ‘Office”s Craig Robinson attended the show.
