You think Meryl Streep knew Colin Firth would kiss the Best Actress at the Oscars when she starred in ‘The Iron Lady’?  Maybe knowing she would be kissed by Colin made her perform so good. Or at least she knew it was worth trying.
The 51-year-old actor presented the Best Actress award last night, February 26 at the 2012 Oscars. When 62-year-old Meryl came on stage he kissed her on the lips. Heaven! The move comes just weeks after he presented her as the Best Actress at the Baftas. Then, Meryl lost her shoe as she made her way to the podium to pick up her prize. Gallantly, Colin helped the actress to recuperate her shoe.
It’s well known the two are good friends and they costarred in  Mamma Mia, in which they played former lovers.
