Chris Brown gets out of jail, feels "blessed"
Chris Brown is a free man. The 25-year-old singer was released from Los Angeles County jail on June 2. According to the Associated Press, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s deputy Tony Moore confirmed that Brown was released from prison at 12:01 a.m. on Monday morning. So far, no other details are available.
“Humbled and Blessed. Back to the Music and the Fans… Thank you GOD”, Brown wrote on Twitter hours after he was released.
Brown was taken into custody in March just after he was kicked out of rehab after breaking the center’s rules. The singer was found in violation of his probation this spring, when he got into a scuffle in Washington D.C.
He was sentenced to an year behind bars. His sentence was reduced due to previous time he had spent in jail. He is still expected to complete his court-ordered 1,000 hours of community service.
