Hilary Swank sues company for using her pics

Hilary Swank is suing a company in Southern California for allegedly using pics of her from “Million Dollar Baby” in their ads.

According to TMZ, the Oscar winning actress claims that a company called Robert’s Home Audio and Video used pictures of her in their ad campaign without her permission. They violated her right of publicity so she filed a lawsuit last week in L.A. Superior Court. continue reading

Sean Bean arrested

Sean Bean has been arrested for harassing ex-wife Georgina Sutcliffe. According to the Daily Mail, Bean made “abusive calls and sent a number of text messages” to Sutcliffe, his fourth wife.

The ‘Game of Thrones’ star  left DNA swabs and had his fingerprints taken on Tuesday. He was released on bail the same day. continue reading

Matthew Fox arrested DUI

Matthew Fox has been arrested for DUI. According to TMZ, the ‘Lost’ star, was detained in Oregon at 3:23AM on suspicion of driving under the influence.

The website reports that Fox was not alone in the car, he was joined by a passenger. Fox was en route to a fast food restaurant for some late night eats at the time of his arrest. Fox was released the same day. continue reading

Frances Bean Cobain

Frances Bean Cobain has obtained the rights to her father’s name, likeness and appearance from her troubled mother,  Courtney Love.

According to The Fix, Courtney has quit as acting manager of End of Music LLC., the entity in charge of Kurt’s post-death publicity. Courtney gave up control of her late husband Kurt Cobain’s image. In 2010 she received a $2.75 million loan from Frances’ trust fund which was transferred to End of Music and Courtney’s lawyers at the time. continue reading

Wiz Khalifa was arrested again last night for marijuana possession. This is the second time in just days when the rapper gets busted for the same thing.

According to TMZ, quoting a Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina report, 24-year-old Wiz Khalifa was arrested for possession of marijuana after his concert in Winston-Salem last night, May 1st. continue reading

Natalie Wood‘s daughter Courtney Wagner was arrested on Sunday, April 29 for cocaine and heroin possession.

According to TMZ, Courtney had a fight with someone in the house which led to a gunshot. Cops were called after  someone heard a woman screaming. continue reading

Josh Hutcherson buys alcohol though he’s under the legal age for drinking. The 19-year-old Hunger Games actor was seen at a Ralph’s Grocery store.

He lied by saying he was 21-year-old and he tricked everyone and he bought an expensive bottle of whiskey. It looks like he used a fake ID in order to buy the bottle. continue reading

Elton John sued Nikita lyrics have been stolen?

Elton John sued over ‘Nikita‘. According to TMZ, Guy Hobbs filed a lawsuit against sir Elton John in Illinois federal court. In the papers, Hobbs claims he wrote a song called ‘Natasha’ back in 1982 based on his affair with a Russian cruise ship waitress.

Just three years later, Elton John stole his idea. In the docs, Hobbs says he copyrighted the song and circulated the lyrics to multiple publishing companies, but no one wanted to hear about it. He even tried at Big Pig, which publishes Elton John songs. But no answer. continue reading

Jason Trawick is Britney Spears new co-conservator

Britney Spears has a new conservator: Jason Trawick. His former agent and current fiance has officially become the singer’s newest conservator. According to TMZ, the judge in her conservatorship case gave him  legal power to govern Britney’s affairs.

It was Britney’s father, Jamie Spears who filed the petition in early April. He asked Jason to be his co-conservator. It looks like Britney agreed to have her fiance taking care of her business as well. As for Jamie, he is “thrilled’ to share the job with a man he trusts. continue reading
