Carrie Underwood Brad Paisley mock Taylor Swift
Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley had to be funny last night while co-hosting the 2012 CMA Awards. So they chose to mock one of them: Taylor Swift. The two co-hosts pocked fun t the singer’s recent split with Conor Kennedy.
“The greatest trade of the year had to be the Kennedy family. They somehow traded Arnold Schwarzenegger for Taylor Swift. I mean, what they got for that. . .”, Brad Paisley said.
At that point, Carrie Underwood stopped him mid-sentence and pretended to whisper new information about Taylor in his ear. “What? Why don’t I ever hear about these things? I’m the last one to know”, he said.
Continuing to mock Taylor, Brad started spoofing her No. 1 hit single ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’. “Are they ever gonna get back together?” he quote the song. “Never, never, never. Never ever”, Carrie responded.
22-year-old Taylor split with 18-year-old Conor in late October of this year. They dated for a few months before splitting.
We bet Taylor was not upset. But this is not the first time when Brad and Carrie mock the young country star. During the CMA Awards in 2011 they mentioned her name on their opening monologue with Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet.
“I’m going to love you forever, or 72 days Amen, as long as Justin Bieber is not a conceiver, as long as Taylor Swift is with her current boyfriend. I’m going to love you for 20 million dollars, for a hit TV series or pics in Us Weekly, for 72 Days, Amen”, they sang at the time.
