Britney Spears X Factor judge job is on the way. According to TMZ, the singer is on talk to sign a $15 million deal for the next season. So far, the singer’s team and X Factor are working out “the fine points” of the deal, but it looks like the major terms have been already discussed.
After everything will be prepared, the contract will go to Britney’s father and conservator, Jamie Spears and the lawyers for the conservatorship. In case they refuse to sign for the deal, the contract will go to the judge who oversees the conservatorship for approval.
While fiance Jason Trawick is “very involved” in the negotiations, sources also involved in the process say it’s a “virtual certainty” everyone will sign off.
As for ‘X Factor, the Executive Producer, Simon Cowell told TMZ that “I would love to have her on the show. I think she would be a fascinating person to sit next to”. It’s possible that the final result to be made public within a week.
Bringing Britney Spears on the show, Cowelll will only fill one of the two seats on the judging panel left vacant after Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul left. By the way, Britney’s deal alone is far more expensive than what Nicole and Paula earned together. Nicole Scherzinger reportedly pulled in $1.5 million, while Paula Abdul raked in $2.5 million.
