The sun is shining again on Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston's street. After they fought for more than one year, the daughter of former Gov Sarah Palin and her baby daddy are getting married.

According to UsMagazine.com, Sarah Palin had no idea about their plans. "We got engaged two weeks ago. It felt right, even though we don’t have the approval of our parents", 19-year-old Bristol told the website.
The couple, who split in 2008, weeks after welcoming son Tripp, reunited three months ago while working out a custody plan for their 18-month-old son. "I really thought we were over. So when I went, I had no hope. I think we both just started talking — and then we took Tripp for a walk", Levi told Us. "When he left that night, we didn’t hug or kiss, but I was thinking how different it was. He texted me: 'I miss you. I love you. I want to be with you again' ... I was in shock", Bristol confesses.
The hard part is getting the blessing of Sarah Palin who's no friend with Levi Johnson. The father of her daughter's child made her mad after saying that the former vice presidential candidate called her son Trig (who has Down syndrome) "retarded". In response, Palin said that anyone who posed for Playgirl would "say and do anything for even more attention".
Anyway, after the announcement of their daughter's engagement, the Palins gave the following statement on the Today show: "Bristol at 19 is now a young adult. We obviously want what's best for our children. Bristol believes in redemption and forgiveness to a degree most of us struggle to put in practice in our daily lives".
