Bobby Brown’s Access to Whitney’s Funeral Denied

He might have beaten her in the past, but now Bobby Brown wants to attend Whitney Houston‘s funeral. After all, she called him “her drug” and the love of her life.

According to TMZ, Whitney’s family declined his presence at the funeral. It looks like the family is still upset with Bobby who was married to Whitney for 15 years (from 1992 to 2007).
So far, Bobby has not an official word from the family. He wants to attend the funeral so he can support his daughter Bobbi Kristina.

Despite being “extremely disappointed” by the family’s reaction, he still thinks they should all focus on mourning the loss of Whitney.

The singer was found dead in a bathtub in her hotel room on Saturday. She was 48. So far, an official cause of her death hasn’t been made public.

GOOD! I'm glad he's been banned from the funeral! No ex-husband who's a wife beater should be allowed to attend the funeral. Bobbi Kristina will have all the LOVING family support she needs for support WITHOUT her jerk of a father there.

My impression, from the last interview with Whitney on Ophra, was that her daughter gave full support to and even encouraged her to leave him. I can only imagine that the entire family including her daughter need complete quiet and calm, without the man who probably caused her death. It may be true that she had tried or started on drugs before meeting him, but I have no doubt that his abusive behavior and his own drug use caused her downfall. Ask any woman who has been abused what it does to your self esteem. She was amazing....that she was able to divorce and try again was a tribute to her strength..... Rest in peace......
