Bobby Brown Whitney Houston song released
Bobby Brown has a new song and it’s about late Whitney Houston. The 43-year-old singer wrote about life since Whitney Houston’s death. Brown confesses he “messed up pretty bad” and he asks his late ex-wife “Don’t let me die”.
“I didn’t realize that every breath I took was from you … You were my air”, he sang during his appearance on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’.
“I guess I messed up pretty bad … I didn’t know who you were … I didn’t know what we had. Now I’m stuck living in the past … trying to get the pieces back … but I guess now you’re gone”, he added. Bobby Brown is releasing the song on his new album, which drops in June.
Brown was married to late Whitney Houston from 1992 until 2006. The couple has one 19-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina. During their first year of romance, Bobby and Whitney split for a short while. Bobby reunited with his former girlfriend Kim Ward and they had a son, Robert Barisford, Jr.
Whitney Houston was found dead in a bath tub in her hotel room on February 11. After the announcement of her death was made, Bobby Brown performed on stage and dedicated her a song.
Currently, Brown is set to marry his girlfriend of two years Alicia Etheridge.
