Bobby Brown charged with DUI and two other crimes
Bad news for Bobby Brown! The 43-year-old singer has been charged with DUI. According to TMZ, a L.A. City Attorney filed a criminal charges against him.
The news comes two days after Brown was pulled over by cops and failed a sobriety test. On Wednesday, October 24, the singer was pulled over by cops at 1 AM for driving erratically. Cops smelled alcohol in his ride.
Unfortunately, this is not all. In addition to the DUI charge, Bobby has been charged with 2 other crimes. He was also charged with driving on a restricted license and driving a vehicle without a vehicle interlock device.
The last two charges are related to Bobby’s previous arrest in March 2012. Back then he was also arrested for DUI.
Bobby was also convicted of DUI in 1996.
If convicted, Bobby risks to stay up to 2 years in jail. We bet he won’t be staying that much. But he would probably get a few months behind bars. Bobby is also facing a probation violation for the prior 2012 DUI.
Bobby entered rehab in mid-August, but it looks like the treatment was not good enough to calm him down.
Not very good news for a newly married man. Bobby married his manager Alicia Etheredge in Hawaii on June 18. The two have a 3-year-old son Cassius together.
Bobby was previously married to late Whitney Houston from 1992 until 2007. The couple has one 19-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina. During their first year of romance, Bobby and Whitney split for a short while. Bobby reunited with his former girlfriend Kim Ward and they had a son, Robert Barisford, Jr.
Whitney Houston was found dead in a bath tub in her hotel room on February 11 of this year. After the announcement of her death was made, Bobby Brown performed on stage and dedicated her a song.
