The announcement wasn't made by Guiney (he is a modest man), it was made on Monday's '20/20 special Inside the Bachelor: Stories Behind the Rose' by Mike Fleiss, the ABC show's creator and executive producer. He revealed that "the average guy will end up having sex with three women during the course of the show". "Bob had just come off the Trista season of the 'Bachelorette' so his popularity was enormous. Women were in love with him right from the start", Fleiss explained.
