Sandra Bullock - 2010 Oscars
Leigh Ann Tuohy from ‘The Blind Side’ helped Sandra Bullock to win an Oscar or was it the other way around? Or was it the Razzie for “Worst Actress” for her role in ‘All About Steve’ the one to help her?
Anyway, last night, during The Oscars, where 45 years old Sandra won the statuette for “the Best Actress in a Leading Role”, she made a very good acceptance speech.”Did I really earn this or did I just wear you all down?” she said after accepting the golden statue from Sean Penn.
Bullock graced the red carpet last night wearing a magnificent silver gown when she took stage to receive the honor. She said a few words about each of her competitors, joking about Meryl Streep and calling her a “great kisser”. The reference she made was a January 2010 incident at Critics’ Choice Awards where Bullock shared a lip-lock with Meryl Streep. “I thank all the good and all the mean people to me such as George Clooney who kind drowned me in a pool some times in past and that I still have a grudge about the same”, she continued.
In the end, the actress had tears in her eyes while thanking her mother for making her learn there’s no religion, class system and no race or no color.
