Backstreet Boys’ star Brian Littrell Diagnosed with Swine Flu!

Unfortunately another star is diagnosed swine flu. We are talking about Backstreet Boys’ star Brian Littrell. The band had to cancel several performances in New York this week, including a performance on ‘The Early Show’ Tuesday, an upcoming appearance on ‘Ellen’ and a guest spot at NYC PINKTOBER at the Hard Rock Café after Brian got hit by swine flu.
It seems that the rest of the band (Nick Carter, Howie Dorough and AJ McLean) and the band’s traveling entourage also went to the doctor, but they are fine for the moment. However, doctors have prescribed Tamiflu to the group as a preventive measure.
“We were really looking forward to spending time with our closest fans and friends in NYC and take part of PINKTOBER, an unbelievable and important program. I hope we can come back soon and do everything we can to help”, Brian wrote on the band’s website.
In 1998, Brian went through another medical issue when he underwent open-heart surgery to correct a lifelong heart murmur.
