Dennis Quaid’s brother, actor Randy Quaid and his wife, Evi have been arrested in western Texas, in the rural town of Marfa, yesterday. According to Presidio County Sheriff’s officials, the two of them tried to skip out on a hotel bill in California.
The Quaids are charged with burglary, defrauding an innkeeper, and conspiracy. According to TMZ.com, they each paid his $ 20,000 bail.
As an irony, the couple has sent a handwritten note to TMZ saying: “I promise the state of California, Texas does not bother people over hamburgers ordered by room service, supposedly burglarized”.
Another irony from the actor’s part was that, the moment he made the mug shots, Randy Quaid was laughing!
