Angelina Jolie is rumored to play Marilyn Monroe. According to London's Telegraph, quoting author Andrew O'Hagan, 35-year-old mother of six is set to appear in the movie version of 'The Life and Opinions of Maf the Dog'. C'mon!
'The Life and Opinions of Maf the Dog and of His Friend Marilyn Monroe' follows Monroe's last two years through the eyes of her pet, Maf, a Maltese terrier which was a gift from Sinatra in 1960. By the way, Frank Sinatra will be played by George Clooney.
So far, no official announcement has been made.
Angelina Jolie is also considered for the role of Cleopatra, previously played by Elizabeth Taylor in 1963. "I would be honored [to play the role]. But we haven't gotten the script yet", Jolie said.
