According to Hollywood Reporter, just  in 2008 the two of them gave $6.8 million to charities like Global Health, Human Rights Watch, the Armed Services YMCA and Brad's Make It Right Foundation,  made in order to rebuild New Orleans. They also have given $1 million to various causes in Cambodia, the country from where their son Maddox comes from.
