Andy Dick enters rehab

Andy Dick entered rehab after friends and colleagues staged an on-air intervention.  “We can’t carry on”, his boss Alki David told the 46-year-old comedian while he was filming his internet television show ‘Andy Dick Live!’ at a studio in Beverly Hills.

Andy checked into a Californian rehab named Oasis on Tuesday night, June 26. The intervention was captured on camera for an episode of ‘Andy Dick Live!’.

“Everybody knows you have been going through your trials and tribulations”, David said. “Ups and downs… a struggle and strive”, Dick confessed. “I told you the other day that if this continued we can’t carry on… together. For me, those of us who follow the suggestions get well”, the CEO of FilmOn, the web-based network which airs Dick’s program added.

Andy Dick has been struggled booze addiction for years. His case was featured on VH1′s ‘Sober House, a Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew’ spin-off in 2009. In May 2011, the actor was arrested for public intoxication at a restaurant in Temecula, California.
“When I drink I turn into a moron.  think I’m being funny and clever, but I look back on the video tape and I border on retardation”, the comedian told Entertainment Tonight, in 2009.
