American Idol top 3 revealed

American Idol top 3 was revealed last night. Hollie Cavanagh was sent home from the singing competition.

The three finalists are: 20-year-old gospel singer Joshua Ledet, bluesy 21-year-old pawn shop worker Phillip Phillips and wannabe 16-year-old pop diva Jessica Sanchez.

18-year-old Hollie was eliminated from the Fox singing competition Thursday after she received the fewest viewer votes. On Wednesday, May 9, she performed Journey’s ‘Faithfully’ and Bonnie Raitt’s ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’.

This week, ‘American Idol’ viewers cast 70 million votes this week. Wonderful!

The three remaining finalists will return to their hometowns before taking the stage next week.

It;s going to be a rough competition. Some say that Phillip Phillips is the judges’ favorite singer. But Joshua and Jessica might do us a surprise.
