Amanda Bynes hospitalized on 5150 hold for starting a fire
More trouble for Amanda Bynes who is in hospital. The actress was hospitalized on a 5150 hold. According to TMZ, she started a small fire in the driveway of someone’s home Monday night, July 22.
The fire department in Thousand Oaks, CA responded to a call last night and called the sheriff’s department after finding Amanda standing in the driveway next to the campfire.
The Sheriff’s deputies asked Amanda what she was doing and she got so delusional, they had to take her to the hospital on a 5150 hold.
A 5150 hold is an involuntary hospitalization for mental evaluation. The only issue with this kind of hospitalization is that they can only detain Amanda for 72 hours. Then what?
This is not the first time when Amanda gets in trouble for her behavior. The actress was arrested in May at her New York apartment for reckless endangerment. She threw a bong from the 36th-floor window. She was also detained with marijuana possession for allegedly smoking marijuana in the lobby of her building.
