Stop dreaming about Alicia Keys!  According to USMagazine.com, the singer got engaged to producer/rapper Swizz Beatz. It seems the proposal was made on January 24 while the couple was is Hawaii, just a day before Alicia turned 29 years old. "She is thrilled. She is with the man who has inspired so much of her music and her new album, 'The Element of Freedom'", one friend of Alicia declared for Us. It also turns out, Alicia was seen wearing a 7-carats diamond while walking on the beach.
Beatz was previously married to R&B singer Mashonda with whom he has a child. After their divorce was pronounced, last February, Mashonda sent Alicia a letter that says: "If you are reading this Alicia, let me start by saying, you know what you did. You know how you contributed to the ending of my marriage... If it's so, that you and my husband are meant to be together, then God bless you both and I hope you never have to deal with what I did." Rough!
