Adam Levine is a Photoshop victim in Vogue Russia
Photoshop could make anyone look gorgeous. Also, Photoshop could make anyone look like they are missing parts of their body or as if parts of their body are simply glued in the wrong places.
Take the image of Adam Levine‘s torso in the latest issue of Russian Vogue. The Maroon 5 singer poses with his Russian model Anna Vyalitsyna, but his body looks weird. It appears that he lost a portion of his midriff. Someone has just overreacted the digital re-touching. And it’s not like his body is somehow turned. He’s just wrapped around his girlfriend’s legs, but his body is missing a part where his right side should be.
Of course this is not the first time when Photoshop has made a victim. Kristen Stewart in November’s Glamour issue (she appears to be missing her lower left arm), Fergie or even Beyonce have suffered Photoshop image disasters.
So this is why, Seth and Eva Matlins’ initiative to issue a bill that would regulate the digital airbrushing in magazines and ads seems only fair. The founders of magazine and fashion label Off Our Chests said that commercials and magazines should be accompanied by disclaimers if models have been airbrushed or Photoshopped. Good idea!
